Example 3: We are contracted to become a rolling creative resource over a 2 day conference. Scripts are written based around a news programme format. The actors act as news presenters and pepper the day with newsflashes based on the learning. We have a scriptwriter and director on site to re-write sections at the end of day 1, to be performed on day 2.

Result: Delegates experience relevant & topical dramatisations inspired by their input and discussions. They love the humour of the piece.

Scenarios & Simulations

A large public sector organisation contracts Silvercube to supply role-play actors for its customer care workshops in order to practise and finesse challenging customer care situations. Silvercube actors also work on ‘Preparing to have Difficult Conversations’ focussing on internal people management challenges.

Example 1: Actors sit with delegates while they fill in bespoke role-play sheets. The course is written around ‘Preparing to have Difficult Conversations’. Actors adopt the mannerisms, distinctive speech patterns and status of the chosen character. We utilise STOP/START/TIME OUT techniques. Feedback is given in a structured and progressive way: how it felt, words used, the content, and how body language impacted. Key learning points are written on the flipchart.

Result: Delegates are able to practice their people skills in a life-like situation. Feedback is delivered by a professional in an objective way. The delegate learns in real time and by using muscle memory. They have the opportunity to practice what they have learnt.
